Instructions
  1. Wash the cooked chick peas and let the excess moisture drip off.
  2. In a non-stick pan, roast the sesame seeds without adding any oil for a couple of minutes.
  3. They should turn slightly darker. Use low heat so that they don’t burn!
  4. Press lemon and pour its juice into a bowl.
  5. Using a garlic press, add the garlic to the lemon juice.
  6. Put all ingredients into a bowl and add 3 Tbsp of olive oil.
  7. Add some salt and pepper according to taste.
  8. Use a hand blender to mix the ingredients until you have a smooth, even texture.
  9. Let the whole thing cool down prior to serving with toast or fresh bread.
Recipe Notes

Tip: if you make it the one day in advance the flavors will be even more intense!
