Instructions
  1. Finely chop the onions into thin slices.
  2. Heat 2-3 Tbsp of olive oil in a pan at medium heat and add the onions stirring frequently.
  3. When they become soft, add 1 heaped tablespoon of sugar.
  4. Continue to stir frequently until they start to caramelize.
  5. Add a pinch of salt and stir.
  6. Remove them and let them cool down.
  7. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
Recipe Notes

Tip: you can add different types of herbs in order to come up with exotic flavors. Be creative!
